40+ hours per week
3+ years roofing or construction safety experience required
OSHA 10 & 30 required, preference to applicant with OSHA 500, CHST or CSP
Monitor safety programs and efforts with employees, ensuring safety is part of our culture and that all new hires have proper safety information and equipment
Minimize construction hazards and enforce safety policies utilizing the company’s disciplinary policy
Coordinate with Project Supervision so that correct equipment is utilized, adequate first aid materials are available and safety documents are posted on all job site
Investigate all injuries and review all accident reports including corrective measures with employees and logging injuries/illnesses for OSHA purposes
Record and forward copies of all safety related meetings, programs, safety pre-plans, inspections, correspondence, citations to the Safety Director
Perform safety orientations and annual trainings
Oversee substance abuse program
Ability to work with management, owners, subcontractors, and employees
Compensation
Competitive wage based on industry standard, skill set and location
Regular compensation reviews
$50-$75k/annual DOE
